we provide results not excuses!

1. What is a VirtualWorkz?

A team who performs tasks, usually for multiple employers over the course of a year. A team who is somewhat like a free agent in professional sports – we essentially sell our services to the highest bidder – except that we usually work for more than one employer.

We may work part-time or full-time. Because we are not considered as employers. We are allowed to work for other employers and are usually permitted to perform tasks in their own way, so as long as the work gets done to the client’s specifications. More and more businesses are becoming open to the idea of using VirtualWorkz to get work done as it saves them money without having to make a permanent commitment as they do with employees. We often fill a temporary need and then move on to the next project.

2. Who are VirtualWorkz?

We are a team of those who make money online by applying to jobs on unique sites. The amount of individuals who choose to work with the web as a way to get a higher month-to-month earnings is escalating. We can work as writers, designers, performers, virtual assistant, selling or services by the hour, day, job, etc., rather than working on a regular salary basis for one employer.

3. What types of services do you offer?

The types of services we perform are listed in detail under Services, but generally speaking, we will consider any online project. For instance, we are currently seeking clients who might need assistance with their online projects, including writing content, graphic design, translation, IT and office administration.

4. How does it work?

The virtual process as simply working for someone from a remote location while staying in contact via the Internet, telephone, e-mail, etc. It’s also called virtual assistance, telecommuting, outsourcing, contracting out, and working from home. For the client, the process begins with a phone call or e-mail to our team regarding a communications project, an idea, or maybe just a question. If a project starts to come into focus, we then discuss the details regarding costs, schedule, and the logistics of how we’re going to work together.

5. What are the benefits in working with a VirtualWorkz?

The primary benefits of hiring us are the flexibility and money savings. Our team not only can work on demand as needed, but businesses also can pick and choose work-ready talents with specific skills, such that training will not be required. Moreover, with payroll being a huge chunk of fixed costs for businesses, hiring us lets businesses convert them into variable costs. The advantages to any company or organization in contracting out and using our services are numerous. Here are just a few:

Our average doesn’t have anywhere near the overheads of an established agency such as office space and staff so here is an immediate and tangible saving as a client can make. We work from our home which is you won’t have a lot of overhead costs, so you can offer you cheaper rates. You probably don’t want price to be the only factor in deciding which to hire, but if you ask the right questions, you may be able to get Madison-Avenue work at Peotone prices.

Simplicity & Flexibility

Many agencies tend to have at least one “flagship” client who demands more of their time and effort than all of the other “smaller” clients and often they’re paying for the privilege so naturally agencies will always find more time for these clients and perhaps a little less for the smaller jobs which of course are still important, are less important. A general rule of thumb with a lot of us is that we tend to work from project to project or have only a couple of projects active which means a greater level of focus on yours. The reason a lot of us decide to freelance is, frankly, because we want to set our own hours. That kind of flexibility can benefit the both of us. We might be updating your website, posting a blog, answering your Facebook fans, and brainstorming a list of direct mail ideas after you’ve closed up shop for the night. In fact, you might be able to email us a list of assignments at the end of the business week, and find that we are completed and earning you money by Monday morning!

Related to flexibility is immediacy, our sense has of wanting to get the job done fast. We are small business people too, and the good ones know we are more likely to make a profit when we meet your deadlines, exceed your expectations, and move on to our next assignment. We don’t have time for water-cooler conversations, agenda-less meetings, or office politics. We just want to get the job done. Dealing directly with us who is working on your project often shortens the time to completion of your project. There’s no chain involved in getting your requirements implemented and changes can be done straight away rather than falling into the inbox of a designer in an agency who may have twenty other jobs their boss has asked them to complete by the end of the day.

If you’re hiring us, you’re only paying for our skills. We have lot of experience with a lot of different businesses. Each job we work on and each client we work for adds more knowledge to our craft, more skills to our arsenal.

One of the hassles of hiring new staff is all the time you have to invest in training before they are really up to speed and able to make valuable contributions to your bottom line. We, on the other hand, are used to working on their own. Yes, you’ll need to define your expectations clearly, and give us access to the company information resources we need, but you won’t have to sit with us and explain everything. You’ll be able to focus on your own business while we completes the assignments you’ve given to us.

At this point as a client you may be half convinced about trying the us route when it comes to your next project but are perhaps thinking that if you hire an agency, you’re not only hiring someone who specialized purely in web design but a complete solution which gives you access not only to a designer but perhaps also a developer and a copy writer and someone who specializes in search engine optimization.
